Dr. Santiago received her Masters in Business Management degree from the Asian Institute of Management, where she was the recipient of the Claude Wilson Foundation scholarship grant for her first year.  She received her doctorate from the De La Salle Graduate School of Business and Economics and in that year moved to the academe.

Dr. Santiago’s current teaching, research, and consulting interests are in corporate social responsibility, sustainability, leadership, family business management, as well as international and higher education.  She is tapped by the College of Education to handle graduate courses in Fiscal Management as well as Management of Entrepreneurial and Adaptive Institutions.  She has published with the Family Business Review, The Asia-Pacific Education Researcher, Energy Policy, Electricity Journal, International Journal of Education Policy and Leadership, and the Philippine Management Review

Dr. Santiago is the Regional Editor (Philippines) for the Journal of Family Business Management, a publication co-founded by the Bristol Family Business Community and the UK Family Business Research Community.  She is also the Managing Editor of the Journal of the Philippine Academy of Management, a publication to be released beginning 2011 by the Philippine Academy of Management.

The conference dubbed Family Enterprise Excellence Conference will be held on April 13 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino.
